Rescheduling Languages & the Media 2020 – FAQs
Amid the COVID-19 public health emergency, we were advised to postpone the 13th Languages & the Media Conference and Exhibition. The health and safety of our community is our main priority and the current circumstances do not allow to hold a large in-person event this year that is safe and risk-free for all involved. With other events moving online this year, we too have considered virtual alternatives, but as organisers we strongly believe that social networking is the essence of the Languages & the Media experience and have therefore decided to reschedule the physical event to 2021.
When and where will the 13th Languages & the Media take place?
The 13th Languages & the Media conference has been moved to September 20 – 22, 2021. The venue, Hotel Radisson Blu in Berlin, remains unchanged.
What happens to my registration?
Your registration will be automatically transferred to the new dates and we guarantee the Terms & Conditions agreed to upon registration. We hope that you will be able to attend the conference on September 20 – 22, 2021. Registered participants for the rescheduled dates will be granted free access to the Virtual Roundtable Discussion planned on December 15, 2020.
If you cannot participate in 2021, please let us know by 19.10.2020 and we will proceed with the refund minus an admin fee and any bank expenses that may apply. After 19.10.2020, our usual Terms & Conditions apply. Transfer of your registration to another person is permitted. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to transfer your booking to someone else. Transferring your registration will allow you to attend the event in September 2021 at current conference fees.
