Alicja Zajdel

Alicja Zajdel is a PhD Researcher at the University of Antwerp, where she is conducting a research project on audio description. She is examining the professional identity of audio describers and how this influences the way in which they work and the type of texts they produce. Prior to her position in Antwerp, she studied Hispanic Studies and Literary Translation at the University of Bristol and Trinity College Dublin. Since last year, she has been the Secretary to the Editorial Board for the Journal of Audiovisual Translation.
