Vaishnavi Upadrasta is a UX researcher with an interest in understanding how people interact with technology. She holds a BA in Psychology and a MA in Business Psychology from HMKW University of Applied Sciences for Media, Communication and Management, Berlin. Working as a research associate at HFC Human-Factors-Consult GmbH, Berlin, her research focuses on topics concerning User-Centred development, accessibility in emerging technologies, and UX and usability testing. Vaishnavi's involvement in projects for accessibility such as CONTENT4ALL allows her to work closely with disabled people, understand the everyday challenges they face, and gives her first-hand knowledge concerning their needs when dealing with technical systems. Her work at HFC enables her to not only gain experiences in the fields of research, innovation and media, strengthen her methodological competence in interdisciplinary collaboration, but also reinforces her attitude on equal access for all.
