Giselle Spiteri Miggiani

Giselle Spiteri Miggiani, Ph.D. is a tenured lecturer at the University of Malta where she recently set up a postgraduate audiovisual translation specialisation stream that she teaches and coordinates. She is also an audiovisual translator and dubbing adapter since 2006. She is regularly invited to deliver lectures and talks at other universities and provides training and consultancy services to global leading stakeholders and European Institutions. She is the author of the book Dialogue writing for dubbing. An insider’s perspective (Palgrave Macmillan, 2019), among other articles and chapters. Her research interests focus on cloud dubbing technologies, quality in dubbing, Italian and English language dubbing, and inclusive arts and media.
