Live Subtitling and another layer of accessibility for all: that's how it all started exactly 15 years ago, when I started to work for the Belgian broadcaster DPG Media, VTM Nieuws. And still ongoing.

In the meanwhile: projects and teaching within the University of Antwerp, training and speech recognition, ILSA in an international learning context and my own projects as a freelancer, on top!

Not to forget: The European Accessibility Act.

The mix of interlingual live subtitling, intralingual with or without delay, the context of live television versus live online, the pressure of automatic live tools: it continues to be a very interesting world and I am looking forward to sharing my experiences and learning from yours.
