Shana Priesz began her localization career at DreamWorks in 2000, pioneering the early days of worldwide day-and-date dubbed releases for theatrical animated titles. While at DreamWorks, she also created processes for maintaining translation consistency for dubbing and subtitling across all distribution windows. In 2004, Shana went on to manage the Scripting and Dubbing department at Technicolor where she successfully dubbed the first shows in Latin Spanish for day-and-date air on ABC using SAP tracks. In 2007, Shana joined Deluxe to launch the scripting, dubbing and audio description department. Throughout her 10 years at Deluxe, she developed and led a global team of 250 employees across 8 worldwide locations. In 2016, she joined Pixelogic in its startup phase and led the development of the company’s localization operations, workflows and tool chain. As part of her current role, she works closely with the company’s R&D team on all localization aspects of the company’s end-to-end platform pHelix™.
