Isabelle Robert

Isabelle Robert is a lecturer of French at the Department of Applied Linguistics, Translation and Interpreting at the University of Antwerp (Belgium), where she teaches undergraduate courses on French oral and written text production and Translation Studies, and graduate courses on Dutch–French translation and translation tools. Her main research interests include translation process research, audiovisual translation (quality in interlingual subtitling and in interlingual live subtitling), translation revision process, and sight translation. She is the treasurer of the European Society for Translation Studies and also an active member of the editorial board of the translation journal Linguistica Antverpiensia New Series – Themes in Translation Studies. She is also a partner in an Erasmus Plus Knowledge Alliance project entitled ‘Interlingual Live Subtitling for Access’ (ILSA).
