Danijel Koržinek is a research assistant at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw, Poland. His main areas of interest center around speech technologies and human-computer interaction, especially using the voice as the primary modality. He participated in several national and EU research programs dealing with tasks involving of speech recognition and speech translation (eg. in the EU-Bridge FP7 funded project). Most recently, he is involved in the Polish branch of the Clarin infrastructure project, where his team is developing speech processing and analysis tools and resources for use by various Humanities and Social Science researchers in Poland.
