Ana M. Prats-Rodríguez holds a BA in English (Universitat de València, 2002) and a BA in Translation and Interpreting (Universitat Jaume I, 2007). As a T.A. in the University of Georgia, USA (2002-2004), she taught Spanish and obtained an M.A. in Spanish Literature with a thesis on Cuban post-revolutionary cinema. She has also participated as a tutor/mentor in the study-abroad program “UGA en España” (València and Cádiz). Ana worked as a freelance translator and interpreter between 2007 and 2008. In 2009 she obtained an M.A. in Creative and Humanistic Translation. She is now a full-time researcher in the group TRAMA of the Universitat Jaume I, and is currently working on her PhD on audiovisual translation in Catalan.
