Irene de Higes Andino

Irene de Higes Andino graduated in Translation and Interpreting at the University Jaume I (Castellón, Spain) in 2007. After finishing her B.A. she worked as a Production Manager Assistant in Soundub, a dubbing studio in Madrid (Spain). During the academic year 2007-2008 she assisted Spanish teachers on their classes at high schools in Perth and Kinross Council (Scotland, United Kingdom). From 2007 to 2009 she was also a professional freelance translator specialised in the translation of cinema articles, voice over for TV and subtitling for film festivals. She is presently working on her PhD thesis on multilingual movies and translation and she is a full-time researcher in the TRAMA research group of the University Jaume I (Castellón, Spain).
