Carlo Eugeni

Carlo Eugeni is Philosophy Doctor in English for Special Purposes with a thesis on live subtitling by means of speech recognition technology. He teaches Multimedia Translation at the University of Macerata and is member of the Education Committee of the international organisation of real-time reporters Intersteno. As a freelance professional he subtitles pre-recorded programmes for RAI teletext and live events for the Italian free market. He also trains university students and professionals alike to the use of speech recognition technology both in the field of live subtitling and of real-time reporting.
