Tabitha Allum

Tabitha Allum is the Chief Executive of STAGETEXT, the organisation which promotes and provides captioning in around 70 theatres in the UK as well as enabling theatres to set up their own captioning services. Recently, STAGETEXT has received funding to explore the use of speech recognition technologies as a means by which access can be provided to deaf, deafened and hard of hearing people who wish to attend non-scripted cultural events.
